These Terms of Service and any separate agreements whereby we provide you Services shall be governed by, interpreted, and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Queensland (QLD), Australia, and the Commonwealth of Australia, without regard to conflict of law principles.

2. Gemological Disclosure & Accuracy of Information

We endeavor to present accurate product descriptions, carat weights, cut specifications, and pricing. Gemstone Identification Notice: In full compliance with Australian consumer trade regulations and international gemological standards, all lab-grown diamonds, lab-created sapphires, and synthetic moissanite gemstones are clearly disclosed as laboratory-grown or created. Moissanite is silicon carbide (SiC) with a refractive index of 2.65 - 2.69 and Mohs hardness of 9.25, distinct from mined natural diamonds. Carat weights may vary within a standard industry tolerance of +/- 0.05 carats. Vyla Carat reserves the right to correct any inadvertent inaccuracies or typographical errors at any time without prior notice.

Precious Metal Care Notice: 925 sterling silver and gold vermeil (thick gold plating over sterling silver) naturally interact with atmospheric sulfur, moisture, chlorine, and personal skin acidity. To maintain the luster of your jewelry, remove pieces before showering, swimming in chlorinated or salt water, working out, or applying perfumes and sanitizers. Wear and Tear Disclaimer: Fine jewelry prongs can loosen over time if caught on knitted clothing or subjected to hard physical impact. Vyla Carat is not liable for gemstone loss resulting from physical trauma, claw deformation, or metal plating wear resulting from chemical exposure or improper home care.
